Upstay is a direct-booking and check-in platform for independent hotels, homestays, hostels and lodges in India. We think of it as a building, six floors from the foundation you never see to the rooftop.
Built on trust.
The foundation. Every hotel’s data is walled off from every other’s, ID numbers are encrypted at rest, payments count only when the gateway confirms, and Form C and eVisitor files are generated for compliance.
No queue at the desk.
The lobby. Web check-in with ID, a selfie and a signature from the guest’s phone, an arrival pass the desk scans, and a link for every co-guest.
Everything, from the bed.
The rooms. In-room dining, housekeeping, chat with the desk, Wi-Fi details and a live bill, each request landing on the board of the person who can do it.
The desk runs itself.
The back office. A Room Board, a housekeeping loop, finance with a night audit, a channel manager, and a switch for every feature.
Open to the world, direct.
The front door. Every hotel gets its own booking site and a place on the Upstay marketplace, with verified reviews and four ways to pay, for a standard 5% commission (set per hotel) on bookings through Upstay against the 15 to 25% agencies typically take.
